If my Share Key is leaked, will my Vault become insecure?

The Share Key is the critical credential that protects your shared files. Once leaked, anyone holding the key can access the shared file contents without restriction. Therefore, safeguard your Share Keys carefully and avoid transmitting them through insecure channels.
If your Share Key is leaked, anyone holding that key could theoretically decrypt and access the files you shared, compromising the security of those shared files. However, this does not affect the security of other files in your Vault, nor does it weaken your Vault's overall security.
Additionally, be aware that if you have saved someone else's encrypted share and that share's Share Key is later leaked, the security of the files you saved from that share will also be compromised. Therefore, we recommend not saving encrypted shares from unknown or untrusted sources.
